Curator’s Talk with Berlin-based Architect, Artist and Curator Martin Kaltwasser. He studied fine arts and architecture and works in many different fields: installation, objects, design, performance, architecture, theory and urban studies.
The red line through his work is the public space which he analyses, reconfigures, and reinterprets. His focus is on artistic and architectonical aesthetic of resistance against the take-over that is operating in the public space: the pressure to consume: growing control, and more and more traffic threatening to change the picture of our cities dramatically.
The talk is organized in cooperation with Centre for contemporary Art Lagos and the Alan Vaughan-Richards Foundation.
